The Role
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Team Leader, the Accounts Payable Agent is responsible for processing invoices and supplier payments. They handle supplier requests, reconcile accounts, and analyze account statements while collaborating with internal departments to ensure efficient financial operations.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Respond to supplier requests
Reconcile certain accounts as per supplier requests
Analyze account statements and disputed claims
Act as the point of contact for suppliers and liaise with various internal departments
Validate, modify, and create supplier records
Validate purchase orders and match them with invoices
Follow up on various files
Collaborate with internal departments and stores
Perform any other related accounts payable tasks
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in accounts payable
Customer service experience is an asset
Knowledge of accounting and relevant experience
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft software
Attention to detail, organizational skills, autonomy, and initiative
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Strong team spirit
