Our expectations:
The Manager, Business Processes & Systems - Distribution will be responsible for managing and optimizing business processes and systems within the distribution network. This role will act as a strategic leader in coordinating and managing transformation, evolution, and maintenance initiatives of the technologies used, including WMS (Warehouse Management System), LMS (Labor Management System), and WCS (Warehouse Control System).
The ideal candidate must be a strategic leader capable of managing multiple complex initiatives simultaneously and leading cross-functional teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as the ability to propose innovative solutions for continuously optimizing systems and processes within the organization. The Manager, Business Processes & Systems - Distribution must demonstrate a high level of rigor, excellent organizational skills, and exceptional communication abilities.
The position also includes overseeing a team of 5 system specialists and analysts, managing business priorities, and developing solutions to ensure optimal system and process performance in the distribution center operations.
Your role:

Strategic Leadership and System’s Initiatives Management: Lead initiatives for the evolution, transformation, and maintenance of systems and applications used in the distribution network, with a focus on the implementation of WMS, LMS, and WCS. Ensure effective resource and stakeholder management to guarantee the success of projects on time and within requirements.

System and Process Management: Optimize information systems and business processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and service quality. Analyze and define the business needs for systems and processes, proposing innovative and tailored solutions.

Support and Technical Expertise: Provide high-level operational support to resolve complex issues, ensuring that system changes and updates align with business priorities. Serve as an internal expert to ensure system quality and performance.

Team Management: Supervise, coach, and develop the skills of business process and systems specialists. Ensure the professional development of team members and their active involvement in the implementation of technological solutions.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with different business units to gather requirements, share information, and ensure alignment of technological initiatives with the company’s strategic objectives.

Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to optimize systems and processes, propose corrective actions, and conduct post-implementation analyses to ensure the effectiveness and profitability of deployed solutions.

Training and Support: Develop training programs for users, ensuring they are well-versed in the systems and facilitating the adoption of new technologies and processes.
The qualifications we are looking for:

Degree: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Administration (operations, logistics, supply chain), Engineering, or a related field.

A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in managing business processes and systems within retail distribution center networks, with significant experience in implementing WMS (Warehouse Management System), LMS (Labor Management System), and WCS (Warehouse Control System).

Experience in optimizing information systems within distribution networks.

Experience in the retail sector or with a transport/logistics service provider is a major asset.

In-depth knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Labor Management Systems (LMS), and Warehouse Control Systems (WCS), as well as associated processes.

Proficiency in business analysis and project management tools.

Stakeholder Management: Excellent ability to build trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders and mobilize teams to achieve strategic objectives.

Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and concisely at all organizational levels, especially in translating technical concepts to non-specialists.

Mobility: Willingness to travel occasionally within Canada (approximately 15-20% of the time).
