Move our supply chain forward! Optimize product sourcing by using the best tools at your disposal and collaborating with various partners to achieve inventory and service objectives. You'll develop your operations management skills in a dynamic, constantly evolving environment.
Your role:- Ensure the optimal supply of products according to the needs of stores and distribution centers, using the various tools and software at your disposal
- Follow up on orders (regular, promotional and marketing) directly with suppliers, ensuring that all terms and conditions on the purchase order are respected
- Ensure product restocking, taking into account the receiving, storage and rotation capacities of each distribution center and store
- Communicate supplier delivery delays to internal customers; inform relevant parties as required when action is required
- Contribute to the achievement of stock position, inventory budget, service rate and store/distribution center turnover targets for all products under your responsibility by closely monitoring these key performance indicators
- Evaluate suppliers' service and delivery performance for stores; inform relevant stakeholders when intervention is required
- Perform all other related tasks
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in operations management or a related field
- 2 to 5 years’ related experience, preferably in operations management or supply chain
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and knowledge of databases
- Certification in APICS, Six Sigma or other (an asset)
- Good knowledge of JDA (an asset)
- Analytical skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team
- Good judgment and decision-making skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Familiarity with the retail industry and/or distribution (an asset)
