The Yard Supervisor is responsible to ensure the yard is operating efficiently resulting in a positive customer experience. The Yard Supervisor manages the product flow and arrangement, oversees the customer loading process, and ensures safety is top of mind for all yard employees. If you enjoy being active, working outdoors and operating equipment this is a great opportunity for you.

Your role:
  • Lead by example, ensuring every customer has a great experience
  • Assist RONA customers to load product into their vehicles
  • Assist with the daily upkeep of the department by off loading trucks, culling lumber, organizing stock, cleaning, price labelling, & maintaining pallets/stock
  • Direct, mentor and assist yard team members as needed
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment for employees and customers
  • Opening and closing duties
  • Maintain 100% commitment to a safe environment

What we're looking for:
  • Customer service experience
  • Strong problem solving and time management capabilities
  • Able to work outside in all conditions
  • Ability to lead by example and delegate expectations
  • Detail oriented and strong attention to safe work practices
  • Excellent listening, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Previous lumber and forklift experience a great asset
