Do you have at least 2-3 years of practical experience in this field, and are you familiar with industry standards? Then this position is for you!

Ready for the challenge?

Your mission will be to:

• Perform functional and performance tests of electrical and mechanical components inside control cabinets and server cabinets;
• Verify wiring, connections and perform continuity tests;
• Analyze schematics, wiring diagrams and technical drawings for accurate implementation;
• Identify and rectify defects in electrical systems and mechanical assemblies;
• Collaborate with design, assembly and quality assurance teams to resolve issues during testing;
• Ensure that all testing activities comply with safety standards and protocols in force;
• Document test results, generate reports and provide feedback to the engineering team;
• Maintain test tools, equipment and work environment to ensure safety and efficiency;
• Provide support to the installation team for final commissioning when required.

Qualifications:

• Hold a technician diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field;
• Have a minimum of 2-3 years of practical experience in electrical and mechanical testing, preferably in control or server cabinets;
• Hold a certification in electrical safety standards would be an added asset.

To be the person we are looking for, you must:

• Have advanced French (You will have to communicate regularly in French, both orally and in writing);
• Have a solid understanding of electrical components, control circuits and mechanical assemblies;
• Have skills in reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, electrical schematics and layout plans;
• Have experience with testing tools: multimeters, insulation testers, oscilloscopes;
• Have knowledge of control cabinet wiring, essential server cabinets, electrical safety protocols and industry standards;
• Have a problem-solving aptitude to effectively identify and troubleshoot malfunctions;
• Be autonomous and enjoy working in a team;
• Have good oral and written communication skills for documentation and report writing.
