The Receivables Agent will be primarily responsible for ensuring the collection of client accounts under their management, in accordance with established policies and procedures. They will leverage their expertise and experience to resolve outstanding situations and issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and follow up on the assigned portfolio to contact clients whose payments have not been made on time and perform necessary follow-ups.
  • Recommend solutions for the resolution of overdue accounts in situations outside established parameters, including uncollectible debts and/or collections.
  • Obtain necessary approvals for applicable debit and credit notes.
  • Analyze clients' unapplied payments and any irregularities, taking immediate corrective actions.
  • Maintain up-to-date notes on client actions in the accounting system.
  • Perform credit and risk analysis for specific cases, if applicable.
  • Ensure and maintain close contact with our partners and provide efficient, quality service.
  • Prepare and provide timely or ad-hoc reports, including follow-up reports as requested.
  • Obtain necessary approvals for write-offs, as applicable.
  • Perform other related tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Fluent in both spoken and written French and English
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple files and responsibilities simultaneously
  • Adaptability to change
  • Tact and diplomacy, conflict resolution skills, with a focus on customer service improvement
  • Dynamic, team-oriented, and autonomous
  • Motivated and results-driven
  • Must demonstrate a high level of attention to detail
