Description
Collaborates with the PAA Program Coordinator to set up students' work-based placements; travels to placement locations and supervises as required.
Maintains accurate records of student progress at the work-based placement and provides regular reports to the PAA Program Coordinator.
Leads the facilitation of job placements for students and serves as the primary contact for overseeing the entire placement process.
Supervises students on job placements, ensuring smooth integration into their roles and effective communication with employers.
Conducts safety site visits to job placements in Saskatoon and surrounding areas, ensuring that the working environment complies with health and safety standards.
Builds and develops relationships with current schools in Saskatoon and surrounding areas to expand the network of potential job placements.
Supports and mentors current Online Learning Facilitators (OLFs) in their roles and provides training and guidance to newly hired OLFs to ensure they are equipped to succeed.
Additional tasks which may include traditional OLF responsibilities that include supporting pace of progress, administrative tasks, and communication
This is a 10-month position based on the academic year of the Sask DLC.
This position will have access to a Company Vehicle (CV) for travel within the city limits.
