Woodward Hill is in the Panorama/Sullivan area with 720 students. There is a growing, diverse, and high ELL population. Woodward Hill is an Environmental LEED school, dual track with early French Immersion, school with wide focus on early reading intervention, technology is embedded in all classrooms with environmental awareness and responsibility.
Intermediate prep teachers provide instruction in one or two subjects of the BC curriculum to multiple classes from grade 4 to grade 7.
The schedule for this 0.5 Core French position at Woodward Hill Elementary is full-day Tuesday and Wednesday and Thursday AM.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Education
Valid BC Teaching Certificate
Salary range is $59,711 to $109,520, with placement on the range based on length of service, FTE and qualifications in accordance with the Collective Agreement.
