This assignment is the result of an employee's absence. The successful candidate will be required to remain in the assignment until the full return of the incumbent (employee on leave), therefore end date and FTE may change.

The City Central Learning Centre is an alternative secondary school. The students who attend often present with multiple barriers to school success and our small supportive environment is key to the engagement of our at-risk students. Having experience working with vulnerable youth and a deep knowledge of trauma informed practice is essential This Centre is searching for a counsellor to support their students.

Minimum requirements are a valid BC Teaching Certificate and a Masters in Counselling Psychology or equivalent. Please visit the job description handbook for more information related to this Learning Centre Counsellor position.
