Description
Applications are now being accepted for a continuing full-time Utility Person position. The applicant must have experience with operating commercial vehicles and equipment, performing commercial grounds maintenance, securing and transporting machinery to and from job sites on trailers, and be able to perform these tasks independently. Must have a Grade 12 education, a minimum of one year related experience, and a valid BC driver’s license (Class 5).
This position is included in Local 801 of the Canadian Union of Public Employees and is effective immediately. The starting wage is $30.00/hour and the hours are 8.0 hours per day, Monday through Friday, day shift (7:00 am - 3:00 pm). The District offers a comprehensive benefit package.
