Temporary 0.857 FTE
Salary: The starting annual salary for this part-time Elementary teacher position ranges from $54,296 to $96,279, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.

Terms and conditions pursuant to the Collective Agreement between the Cranbrook and Fernie Teachers' Association and School District No. 5 (Southeast Kootenay).
-Preference will be given to applicants with BC Teacher Certification.
-Must have a degree/formal training and/or teaching experience in subjects and at a level specific to each posting.
On-Line Blended Learning Teacher - Grades 7-9
(POSTING NUMBER T2425-213 - Round 1)
0.857 FTE temporary contract, starting November 13, 2024 or upon completion of the posting process to December 18, 2024 or return of the incumbent.
Must have a degree/formal training and or teaching experience at the Middle School level. It would be considered an asset to have teaching experience with online learning and the Brightspace platform.
This position will have a home base of Kootenay Discovery School in the community of Fernie. This is a distance learning school. Please note that all work will be on site.
