First Nations Language Teaching Certificate in Okanagan Language (as recognized by the BCTeacher Regulation Branch); recent successful experience teaching Okanagan language; fluent in speaking and writing in Okanagan and English; ability to model, teach and foster social, emotional and cultural awareness; knowledge of current 21st century pedagogy and assessment practices; demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to the professionalcommunity at the school and district level; effective communication, interpersonal, organizational and classroom management skills; ability to integrate technologies and digital citizenship into educational programs; and must have the following: First Nations Language Teaching Certificate in Okanagan languageand current eligibility for Teacher Qualification Service card.
