POSTING DATE: January 29, 2025SCHOOL: Cawston Primary School POSTING: #70 - 2024/25 POSITION: Primary Teacher APPOINTMENT: 1.0 FTE Temporary DURATION or START DATE: As soon as possible until March 31, 2025 or return of incumbent (not to exceed June 30, 2025) Qualifications Required: degree in elementary education; recent successful classroom experience teaching at the elementary level; ability to adapt curriculum, programs, and instruction to meet the diverse needs of all students; ability to model, teach and foster social, emotional and cultural awareness; knowledge of current 21st century pedagogy and assessment practices; demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to the professional community at the school and district level; effective communication, interpersonal, organizational and classroom management skills; ability to integrate technologies and digital citizenship into educational programs; and BC Professional Teaching Certificate and current eligibility for Teacher Qualification Service card.
