Childcare Responsible Adult
Your Role
As a Childcare Responsible Adult , who loves to work with children, you will provide general supervision to children in a childcare setting while developing relationships, providing encouragement, advice and assistance to students before and after the school day. With strong verbal and interpersonal skills, you will help to foster and encourage positive social interaction with students, staff and the school community. With health and safety in mind you will be a positive role model for the school.
Qualifications include high school graduation or equivalent, with a minimum of 6 months experience working with children or youth. Successful completion of the Responsible Adult course is preferred. Proficiency with basic digital literacy, internet safety and the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information is required. First Aid is required by Childcare Licensing.
Assignment: Continuing, Monday - Friday, 1:45pm - 5:45pm
Location: Hammond Bay Elementary
Wage: $27.72
