School District 72 is looking for a Priority French Immersion TTOC to join our team of educators in the French Immersion Program, who strive to bring the district's learning beliefs to life.
School District 72 (Campbell River) is located on the east coast of central Vancouver Island, extending north to Sayward and south to Oyster River. The district also includes the outer islands of Read, Cortes, and Quadra. The district serves over 5,600 students in 18 schools with a diverse range of programs that are progressive and responsive to the educational needs and interests of students.

About the Role
The TTOC (French) role is designed to provide dedicated TTOC coverage to SD72's French Immersion schools.
Must be available throughout the school year September to June to support Elementary, Middle, and Secondary schools.
Must be available to assume temporary vacancies of up to 20 days on short notice, when needed.
Must be willing to participate in directed Professional Development for French Immersion teacher development and literacy work.
Bring your Expertise
Relevant university qualifications.
Fluent in French with strong knowledge of immersion and its pedagogy.
A comprehensive understanding of current educational practices outlined in the BC Ministry of Education documents.
Committed to the craft of teaching, best practices, and standards of professional practice.
Excellent interpersonal, collaborative, communicative, and problem-solving skills.
Flexible, adaptive, and nimble.

The starting full-time salary for these teaching positions range from $58,267 and $106,217. Placement on a salary scale is subject to verification of experience and certification and will be done in accordance with the current collective agreement.
