Position: Speech and Language Pathologist

FTE: 1.0

Status: Continuing

Start Date: September 3, 2024

Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology

Applicant must be registered with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC (CSHHPBC)

Minimum 2 years’ experience working in the field is preferred

Must be eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Speech Language Pathologist and Audiologists (CASLPA) and/or British Columbia Association of Speech Language Pathologist and Audiologist ( BCASLPA)

Recent successful experience working with school-aged students and students with special needs (low incidence)

Job duties:

Comprehensive diagnostic and direct therapy to school-aged children with a variety of communication disorders

Act as a resource for teachers, educational assistants and parents

The starting annual salary for this position ranges from $57,972-$106,217, with placement on the range based on length of service, FTE and qualifications in accordance with the Collective Agreement.
