1.0 F.T.E. TEMPORARY INDIGENOUS GRAD COACH - DISTRICT
A 1.0 F.T.E. Temporary Indigenous Grad Coach is required for Fraser-Cascade District effective immediately to June 30, 2025.
The successful applicant must possess:
a) a valid B.C. Teaching Certificate;
b) University degree in elementary and secondary education.
Preference will be given to candidates who possess:
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Professional teaching certificate.
· Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Education, Indigenous Studies, or related field.
· Proven teaching experience at the relevant school level.
· Demonstrated successful practice and philosophy of collaboration with students, families and the Indigenous communities.
· Expertise in assessment and instructional practices to address diverse learning needs.
· Deep understanding and commitment to the TRC Call to Action, UNDRIP, and collaboration to meet all students' needs.
· Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with diverse rights holders and partners.
· Effective communication skills with students, colleagues, and parents.
· Proficiency with current technology and excellent interpersonal skills.
· Commitment to ongoing personal and professional growth in Indigenous knowledge and reconciliation practices.

Salary: $59,711 - 110,318 depending on Category and Grid Level
