Sherbrooke O.E.M Ltd, is looking for an Electrician to join our team. Sherbrooke OEM lLtd is a company specializing in the design, manufacture and integration of custom recycling equipment. As a growing company we need individuals who are hands-on and looking to grow along with our company which is expanding quickly. We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer who is a self-starter, thinks creatively, and consistently brings a standard of excellence.

Roles & Responsibilities of electrician:

  • Maintenance and repair of manufacturing machinery. Must be able to diagnose and repair manufacturing equipment (without limiting: overhead crane; welder; press; lathe; CNC)

  • Factory control panel assembly. This task requires being meticulous and knowing how to read a plan.

  • Machine assembly (electric and pneumatic)

Requested skills

Qualifications sought:
  • DEP electromechanic, electrician, panel maker
  • 1 year of experience (Preferred) 
  • Ability to work overtime with occasional travel when needed
  • Experience working with recycling systems (an asset)

Commissions

  • Possibility of overtime at time and a half if there is an emergency or on construction worksite
  • Construction worksite bonus
