Role Mandate: Global Asset Management provides investment solutions to all types of investors across Canada in a fast paced and dynamic work environment. We are seeking an entrepreneurial self starter with exceptional people skills, a flexible attitude and attention to detail, to lead sales support for the mutual fund intermediary sales team. This role is focused on communications, content development and supporting the sales leader in executing their vision. You will conceptualize, create, and launch value add sales initiatives that enable sales of our investment solutions and strengthen new and existing advisory/client relationships. This role will be responsible for the assessment, planning, and implementation/delivery of the sales initiatives to promote consistent and exceptional advisor/client experiences. This role reports to the Lead, Distribution Support and will be expected to work from the office 3-4 days per week. ~15-20% travel may be required for this role. You may be required to project manage the development of sales content for multiple sales channels.

• Demonstrated experience developing content, preferably sales collateral, for investment industry sales teams

• Employs systems (e.g. customized exception reports, tracking reports etc.) to manage information

Qualifications:

• 5-7+ years of relevant experience in the asset management industry preferably supporting an intermediary mutual fund sales team

• Post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Communications degree/PMP nice to have

• 3-5 years experience developing content, preferably sales collateral, for investment industry sales teams

• Proven ability to persuade others and obtain buy-in from stakeholders, ability to build strong cross functional working relationships with Senior Leadership

• Investment/banking experience required (preferably working with investment advisors)

• Marketing/communications experience is ideal

• PowerBI experience an asset
