S.i. Systems enterprise public health client is seeking a BC Based Healthcare Change Management and Comms professional to assist with Procura replacement project - SOW20241223CP. They are transitioning 3 Communities of Care areas from their existing Procura Desktop & Procura Mobile applications to the replacement AlayaCare core and premium products.


REMOTE - must be based in BC and work PST hours

Feb - Aug 25, 2025 contract + extensions

MAX Pay rate is $90 / hour + GST as an incorporated consultant


MUST HAVE SKILLS

  • Senior change management experience
  • 4+ years of experience with large complex clinical IT projects
  • 1 year as Senior Change Lead working with clinicians
  • primary care project experience, working with clinicians
  • Working knowledge of clinical systems, care delivery processes, clinical roles, clinical policies, clinical standards within Canada.
  • Demonstrable experience developing and implementing clinical and business change management strategies and communications plans.

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS

  • Bachelor or Diploma in Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Valid (unexpired) Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Managed (CAPM) certification.
  • Prosci Certified Change Practitioner (or higher).
  • Certified Scrum Master.


JOB DUTIES:

The Senior Change & Communications Lead is a key member of the project team working to ensure the project is delivered on time, on budget, and meeting the required quality levels.

The Senior Change & Communications Lead’s responsibilities, include but are not limited to the following:

· apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities;

· leverage a change management methodology, process, and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by the project,

· assess the change impact;

· conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness, and identify key stakeholders,

· work with Project Leadership and all relevant partner teams to Identify, analyze and prepare risk mitigation tactics;

· identify and manage anticipated and persistent resistance;

· develop an engagement strategy, plan and schedule to support user readiness training and deployment activities;

· liaise with Communications, Business & Clinical Working Groups, governance and site sponsors to design, develop, delivery and manage key communications,

· support the communication efforts;

· provide input, document requirements, and support the design and delivery of user readiness training programs

· support user readiness training efforts;

· support other Quality Assurance/testing analysts;

· draft reports, briefing notes, and other supporting documentation for senior management and governance working groups;

· lead, inform and develop use cases as well as design, develop and implement new processes, systems and enhancements;

· oversee and complete business/clinical/technical analysis and process re-engineering activities as well as identifying gaps, risks and opportunities;

· facilitate meetings (inclusive of agenda, minutes and other meeting materials);

· produce presentations, status reports, etc. and other related administrative tasks;

· other duties as assigned;

· project activities must adhere to organizational standards, policies, and expectations.

Core deliverables, include but are not limited to the following:

· a documented transition plan for change and communications framework (including all supportive written materials);

· communications and Change Management plans/strategy as required;

· project partner analysis and engagement plan;

· communication and engagement toolkits;

· documentation processes, workflows, policies and procedures.
