Position Title: Communication Specialist

Line of Business: The Bank's, corporate intranet site, Workplace, enterprise social platform, C&PA’s data & analytics strategy for internal communications, translations, and other associated functions

Contract Duration: 12 months

Remote/Hybrid: Hybrid - every Thursday, 4th Friday of every month.

Project:

1. Consulting and management for The Bank's current enterprise social network (ESN), Workplace from Meta

2. Migration strategy, as the team launches a large-scale change management initiative over the next 18 months to move The Bank to a new ESN successfully

- Taking on day to day consultation and best practices advisory for existing processes


Responsibilities:

1. Consulting / Management for current ESN solution (50%)

• Consult with communications leads / business partners to optimize their groups, content, and strategies that involve Workplace from Meta (and eventually, the next ESN platform at The Bank)

• Provides ongoing advice and support to group leaders to ensure the health of their groups

• Supports group admins in the successful launch and operation of online groups

• Assist with community moderation by staying connected with our communities and popular groups

2. Migration Strategy - Support and Coordination (50%)

• Coordination for 18-month migration initiative (through end of 2025)

• Coordinates stakeholders for migration exercises, including content reviews, audits, and coaching

• Supports POC exercises for the bank's Use Cases on new platform, to ensure smoother launch in 2025

• Support in production of guidance material and presentations for business partners and executives, as part of larger change management effort

• Support production of post-launch ESN support model for Q3/4 2025, including adoption monitoring, surveys, AMAs, platform reviews, and other duties to ensure a successful overall launch

Must haves:

1. 5+ yrs of previous experience

2. Experience with internal and external social networks- either Workplace , Yammer / Viva Engage, Workvivo, or others. They have used these tools or ones like them in other large organizations, and understand the importance of strategic communication as part of an employee engagement strategy.

3. Some experience implementing enterprise-wide initiatives with a focus on internal platforms

4. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (esp. Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel (intermediate/basic)

Nice to have:

· They have a background in communications, digital marketing, employee engagement (HR), or similar.

· Strong preference given to those that can demonstrate expertise with corporate communications, project management, and stakeholder relations

· Previous FI experience
