Developer (JD Edwards EnterpriseOne) for Financial Management modules

Our large oil and gas client is seeking a Developer (JD Edwards EnterpriseOne) for Financial Management modules for a 1 year contract to start with opportunity for conversion to full time employment or contract extension.

This client is open to either Junior, Intermediate, or Senior candidate options, so if you have at least a couple recent years of EnterpriseOne development experience, please apply! Importance is finding someone eager to stay onboard long term and open to the company's culture of coming to the office full time (5 days/week) downtown Calgary.

Must Have:

• 2+ years of development experience in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (C code / C++)

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience in developing and customizing JDE E1 Financial Modules (GL, AR, AP) ideally version 9.2 or higher
• Knowledge of JDE Orchestrator
• Experience using JDE development tools (Named Event Rules (NER), to customize applications based on business needs

Responsibilities:

• Develop enhancements for Financial Management modules
• Understand business requirements in collaboration with business analysts, create technical design documents, and document fit/ gap analysis.
• Support modernization initiatives: Cloud migration; Moving away from customized code to a more sustainable and standardized approach; Increasing Automation with JDE Orchestrator; Adopting Github/DevOps practices
