Int. Business Data Analyst with SQL and Technical Writing experience to analyze and develop technical data requirements for our regional Healthcare client

Location: Remote

Duration: 3 Months (+2 Month extension)

To support our Reporting Database builds by conducting thorough analysis of the systems and the data, documenting for the technical development team the parameters of table build through requirements gathering for General Ledge Functional Centers, Case costing, MIS reporting and other reporting related changes in HIS encounter structures are required.

Responsibilities

· Facilitate requirements gathering and design sessions with multiple stakeholders to extract requirements and create key artifacts such as user stories, use case diagrams, and process flows to meet development and stakeholder needs.

· Bridge the gap between Business and IT, ensuring common understanding and alignment of both functional and non-functional requirements.

· Analyze and develop technical data requirements based on current state system design documents and business needs.

· Work closely with IT and data architects, SMEs, and other departments to implement solutions and ensure alignment with business goals.

· Participate in the systems implementation process by developing test cases, performing testing, and validations.

· Assist in refining and maintaining the product backlog and associated deliverables, including the release backlog with forecasted delivery timelines.

· Hands-on experience in understanding data requirements to articulate and build data mapping and transformation rules.

· Employ key data governance practices to ensure high-quality data analysis, relationships, and interdependencies.

· Identify opportunities and provide valuable inputs for process improvements, contributing to ongoing optimization efforts.

III. Qualification

• SQL.
• Technical Writing.
• Experience in conducting requirements gathering for data warehouse or DataMarts.
• Hands-on experience with data mapping and transformation rules.
• Proficient in analyzing source system data from tables and developing technical requirements.
• Experience in systems implementation, including developing test cases and performing testing and validations.
• Experience in maintaining product backlogs and release backlogs with forecasted delivery timelines.
• Knowledge of data governance practices and their application in ensuring high-quality data analysis.
• Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects, MS-SQL, Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Access, Excel, etc.).
• Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, etc.).
