Intermediate ABAP Developer with FIORI experience to develop and support SAP TM and other modules/applications

Our client in Calgary is looking for an Intermediate ABAP Developer to develop and support SAP TM and other modules/applications

This role requires you to be onsite 100% M-F, working core business hours of 8-5pm

Must Haves:

• 4+ years' experience as an ABAP developer with at least 2 full project lifecycles with TM, EM or SD, with a focus on logistics
• Must have FIORI experience
• Experience developing code with any of the following: ABAP OO, FPM, BOPF, Web Dynpro, Workflow, SQL, NWGW and/or HANA Modeling

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the Development and Support of SAP Modules
• Provide information on the detailed technical design and development of applications using existing and emerging technology platforms
• Design and code application programs using CDS
• Conduct analysis of organizational needs and goals for the development and implementation of application systems
• Review, analyze, and modify programming systems, including encoding, testing, debugging, and installing for a large-scale system
• Ensure the operating efficiency of existing application systems
• Maintain records for the documentation of systems development and revisions
• Create technical documentation, code review, and test process on standard and developed objects in the area of concentration
• Participate in the development and maintenance of custom built functionality and interfaces for SAP Applications and work with developers in this area
• Participate in daily production checks and operations processes required for ensuring any incidents are avoided or detected in time on SAP applications
• Lead troubleshooting of incidents or defects that arise in SAP applications and ensure a timely resolution. Ensure that all stakeholders are updated on progress as well
