Our public sector client is looking for an Intermediate Application Analyst specialized in analyzing and configuring HR, financial and business information systems.


Permanent, full time. The successful candidate is available 5 days per week on site in Surrey, BC. 37.5 hour work week.


Must have:

  • Experience in analyzing, designing, developing and implementing commercial, off-the-shelf (COTS) solutions.
  • 2+ years of experience in a hands-on technical role, working with programming tools, languages, and technical procedures in a Microsoft Environment
  • 2+ years of experience working in cross functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and end users.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Experience supporting the budgeting process by estimating and recommending efforts and resources required for project phases and monitoring expenditures or variances
  • Able to obtain and maintain the required level of police security clearance.
  • A degree in a related field from a recognized institution plus two years related experience or, an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience.


Nice-to-have:

  • Prior experience with SAS software
  • Prior experience in the public sector
  • Experience working and interacting with Database technologies
  • Relevant certifications (i.e., ITIL)
