Position Title: Senior Project Manager

12 month duration

Work location: 81 Bay 26th floor

∙ WFH? Hybrid model working Wed. & Thu. In office - may change.


WHAT IS THE PROJECT THE CONTRACTOR WILL BE WORKING ON? The role will be maintaining operations and supporting regulatory projects for Finance.


Responsibilities:

As the Project Manager, you‘ll be joining Finance Project Delivery Team and will be working on Maintenance Operations and regulatory projects. Your responsibilities include:

∙ Develop Initiative charter including scope, goals and deliverables that support the business case, ensuring alignment across the underlying project charters

∙ Implement governance at the Initiative level, working with the program leadership

∙ Develop an integrated view of the Initiative plan, resourcing requirements and maintain cross Initiative intra and external dependencies

∙ Manage execution, monitoring, controlling, and closing out of Initiatives

∙ Manage scope, change requests, quality and budget across the Initiative teams

∙ Track and manage Initiative risks, issues, actions, decisions and required escalations

∙ Prepare reporting for governance forums with inputs from the PMs and Initiative Leads

∙ Perform financial profiling, tracking and reporting across the Initiative

∙ Ensure alignment with the Bank's Enterprise Delivery Framework standards, processes, templates and reporting requirements, and manage project gating for key milestones


- Strategic development & execution - Manage the day to day integrated plan activities for highly complicated project(s), in an inter-related strategic program following Enterprise Program Management Office standards. Perform high tactical business planning and return on investment outcomes. Initiate, plan, execute, control and close out the program or project with an emphasis on project inter-dependency management. Establish department policies and procedures. Must ensure that all necessary risk assessments and risk assessment processes are carried out at the appropriate time. Must ensure projects for which they are responsible meet the requirements of The Bank's standards, policies, and procedures.

- Relationship management - Maintain relationships with the Business and Technology projects within the program and align on how to best support those needs. Establish and maintain stakeholder, client and senior management relationships. Mentor sponsors and senior management.

- Strong leadership - Be a daring and authentic leader who is passionate about developing and coaching to bring out the best in people. Direct, motivate, develop and manage performance of the management team and key staff.


Must Haves:

· 5+ years' Project or Program Management delivery experience

· 3+ years' experience working with technology projects as the Business Financial Partner

· High level design skills/strategic thinking


Nice to have:

· 3+ years' experience with Accounting Systems (ideally SAP)
