Our public sector client is seeking a Intermediate Business Analyst to assist with software upgrades and the implementation of Windows/Web-based applications


Candidates can be 100% remote in Canada. 37.5 hour work week.


Must haves:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst focused on Software Development projects
  • 3+ years of experience working large-scale software package application implementations and upgrades
  • Experience with IT analysis or designing software solutions


Nice to haves:

  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to communicate both internally and externally
  • Documenting requirements and other project required artifacts
  • Previous work experience in the public sector or large organizations


Responsibilities:

  • User requirements documentation as per our clients standards
  • Recommendation on alternative solutions to meet user requirement
  • Our client's-specific documentation regarding the design for selected alternative
  • Documentation as required by our clients Software Solution Methodology and Project Management methodology;
  • Coordinate project tasks with client, vendors and internal partners;
  • Prepare test plan / case and coordinate UAT with clients;
  • Plan and facilitate all releases in non-production and production environments
  • Transition solutions to support with required documentation
