Intermediate Business Intelligence Analyst to migrate Power BI Report Server solutions to Power BI Services for our public sector client (Req 330)

Our public sector client is seeking a Intermediate Business Intelligence Analyst to migrate Power BI Report Server solutions to Power BI Services

Calgary-based client. Candidates can be 100% remote in Canada (working MST hours). 37.5 hour work week.

Must haves:

• 5+ years of experience in a Business Intelligence role assisting with migrating Power BI Report Server to Power BI Services.
• 3+ years of experience Administering Power BI platform solutions, including data visualizations and dashboards
• 2+ years of experience mentoring other Business Intelligence users/developers

Nice to haves:

• Previous work experience in the public sector or large organizations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills demonstrating ability to work with various audiences.

Responsibilities:

• Working with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to understand and assess reporting and dashboarding requirements.
• Planning and preparing the environment for migration to Power BI Service.
• Validating and testing of solutions post migration to ensure everything is working properly, this includes security, connectivity, content, functionality, and performance.
• Coordinating the migration of solutions to Power BI Service and decommissioning of solutions on Power BI Report Server.
• Creating technical documentation to meet long-term support and training requirements.
• Providing knowledge transfer to internal support staff.
