Hybrid // Core day Wednesdays and third Friday of each month

Work Schedule (hours per week, start time): 37.5 Hours/week, 9-5 Monday to Friday

Who Will the Candidate Be Working with on a Daily Basis? We work in an agile framework. Within this pod is an interdisplinary group. Mainly they will be working with individuals within that Pod. Designers, sales analyst, French editors, developers and QA.

Job Description:

As part of the Agile Marketing Pods you will use your Editorial skills to help bring to life the bank's purpose and commitment to helping our clients succeed.

The English Editor will recommend copy solutions based on an understanding of the business, marketing, user experience, and technology requirements and constraints. This will involve working as part of collaborative, cross-disciplinary teams (including Design, Translations, Sales Lead and Marketing) to deliver copy that completes a cohesive brand and user experience. The ideal candidate must be able to work to tight deadlines, have strong attention to detail and exceptional interpersonal skills.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

§ Act as the English Editorial lead, providing timelines and resource plan estimates (if needed) for design deliverables.

§ Communicate with confidence: You use your powers of communication and consultation to present and revise copy decks at in-person stakeholder review meetings with partners and executives. Your solid interpersonal skills are a must for collaborating with diverse stakeholders, sales leads and internal pod members such as designers, translators and developers.

§ Work closely and collaboratively with cross-disciplinary Agile teams to understand goals and objectives, as well as technical, legal and regulatory constraints. Able to translate complex business objectives into simple language.

§ Ensure that all content adheres to brand guidelines.

§ Present copy to stakeholders. Ensure deliverables follow the appropriate review and approval process, soliciting feedback as needed.

§ Ensure deliverables are executed on time by making copy recommendations that align with campaign objectives.

§ Collaboration: The role involves stepping into other Agile pods to assist as required when workload in the Agile pods is needed, and managing multiple initiatives at one time, requiring excellent organizational and time management skills. You will be working as part of a collaborative, cross-disciplinary agile pod.

§ Training and developing: You will use your English Editorial experience to train and guide new Agile Editors that join our team.

§ Maintain and Share Editorial Standards and updates with the teams.

Must Have Requirement:

- 5+ years' experience writing/editing for desktop and mobile devices, with a solid understanding of current best practices and trends in the digital space

- Proficiency in MS Office products

Nice to Have:

· Degree in English or Journalism or equivalent experience and certifications

· Solid understanding of WCAG accessibility requirements and inclusive digital design principles

· Experience in digital marketing

· Working knowledge of SEO

· Working knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)

· Banking Industry experience or large corporation

· Paid search experience

· Agency background is helpful
