Our client is looking for Intermediate Data Analyst to deliver recommendations based on an analysis of business processes and user needs, enabling informed decision-making in support of the overall business strategy using data. - 20697

Length: 1 year contract

Location: Hybrid twice a week in downtown office preferred, would also consider remote candidate within BC but they will be expected to come to the office minimum twice a month

Requirements:

• 4+ years’ experience in data analysis and visualization programs (SQL, Tableau and Power BI) within large enterprise environment
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Statistics, Economics, or a related discipline

Nice to haves:

• Experience with SAS, VBA
• Experience leading meetings with stakeholders - people skills,

Responsibilities:

• Maintain meaningful relationships with stakeholders through regular reporting and communication using excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, enabling timely progression of projects.
• Continuously improve the business analysis process by recommending more efficient reports and tools to better translate complex information into an understandable format.
• Provide advice to the acquiring manager by translating business insights into actionable options to help deliver quality projects safely on scope, on time, and on budget.
• Translate business insights into strategic, actionable options by obtaining and organizing key business information, enabling informed decision-making.
• Facilitate decision-making across diverse stakeholder groups by using excellent communication skills, critical thinking, and persuasive influencing to deliver recommendations that align with the business goals.
• Maintain meaningful business relationships by prioritizing strategic considerations in a complex environment with diverse groups of stakeholders that projects are implemented as planned.
• Plan and organize business initiatives using expert knowledge in business drivers, risk tolerance, and trade-off processes to enable successful integration and adoption in the company's complex and regulated environment.
