Our national retail client is looking for an Intermediate Data Analyst With SQL, Python, and GCP Big Query to support a centralized data science team- 29231

Location: Mississauga - Tues + Thurs + 1 other day (A possible 4th day in office starting October)

Duration: 9 month contract to start

Work Hours: 37.5 hours/week

Responsibilities:

• As an integral member of our organization, the Data Analyst will work with a team of Data Scientists, Product management and Business teams to collect project requirements, identify data, build queries, develop ML models and present findings.
• Coordinate data conversations with stakeholders, data sources
• Explore and analyze complex datasets to identify patterns and anomalies (SQL, Python)
• Develop and deploy machine learning models
• Lead data analytics process with the product team to gather insights and identify solutions
• Collect, organize, analyze, and present insights.
• Organize project steps and document questions, findings, processes (confluence, JIRA)

Must Haves:

• 4+ years of experience as a data analyst or data scientist
• SQL
• Python (Pandas, Data frames, matplotlib)
• GCP Big Query
• Jira and Confluence

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with anomaly detection and a variety of ML models and algorithms (SKlearn)
• Bash Scripting
