Our national legal client is seeking an Intermediate HRMS/HRIS Systems Analyst to troubleshoot, configure, and support UKG Pro (Ultipro)


Candidate would be required to be in office 3 days/week (days are flexible) and could be to any of their locations (Vancouver, Calgary, or Toronto).

This is a salaried temporary employment position starting ASAP for an 18-month period.


Must- Haves:

  • 3+ years as a HRMS/HRIS Analyst/Admin supporting employee lifecycle creation and updates in
  • Recent technical experience using UKG Pro (formally Ultipro) including troubleshooting, configuring, system investigation, and issue resolution
  • Intermediate to advance Excel skills (Excel functions such as VLOOKUP, PowerPivot, etc.)
  • End user/customer support using ServiceNow tickets and email inbox


Nice to Have:

  • Loading and manipulating data in CompXL
  • Certification, diploma or Bachelor degree in data science, computer science; Business Intelligence background
  • Experience using SQL, PowerBI, Cognos BI


Overview:

  • Responsible for the full employee lifecycle in UKG (onboarding, offboarding, timesheets, vacation calculations, etc.)
  • Managing job banks for existing employees as well as creating for new employees
  • Navigate and extract raw data to convert to consumable data using pivot tables
  • Completing data validation between multiple data sets
  • Maintaining processes, systems, procedures, documentation, and materials to support all modules within HRMS with the exception of the Payroll module
  • Defining, validating, and maintaining compliance of HR data integrity in collaboration with HR systems teams
  • Reporting, validating data and reports; identifying/correcting errors and recommending solutions
  • Managing templates and populating with critical employee data, importing into the HRMS system and conducting system validation
  • Addressing and troubleshooting ad-hoc queries and issues from all internal employees and third party consultants
  • Monitoring and owning the ServiceNow ticket system and the email inbox and answering inquiries while coordinating with the colleagues and business stakeholders
  • Will assist in year end process by running reports for assorted business stakeholders
