Intermediate OpenText Content Server System Administrator & Support Lead to support new and existing OpenText operations and initiatives

S.i. Systems client is looking for an Intermediate OpenText Content Server System Administrator & Support Lead to support new and existing OpenText operations and initiatives

Initially a 12-months contract with an option to extend for two additional one (1) year periods. 36.25 hrs/week. 2 days/week on-site in Burnaby.

Must Haves:

• 3-5 years of experience working with the OpenText Content Server (previously Livelink) in an on-premise environment.
• Experience working with OpenText Directory Services (OTDS)
• Experience in maintaining and upgrading OpenText Content Server software, including planning, execution, and testing.
• Experience in upgrading OpenText Content Server, including planning, execution, and post-upgrade support, to ensure seamless transitions across versions.

Nice to haves:

• Experience with custom development utilizing OpenText Content Server APIs

Responsibilities:

• Provide on-premise OpenText Content Server and associated modules support: Installs new software releases, system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches and resolves software related problems.
• Monitors system to ensure OpenText Content Server solution is operating as expected. Makes adjustments as needed to ensure optimal performance.
• Gather requirements and work with an OpenText partner to conduct a system health check to develop solutions to system related pain points.
• Development of custom applications and interfaces utilizing OpenText APIs.
• Analyzes and resolves problems associated with server hardware, operating systems, applications software.
• Provides second level customer system support for customer software/system applications.
• Provides guidance from a design and architecture perspective related to functional and system requirements.
