Target Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 6 Months

Remote/Hybrid: Hybrid - Wednesday and Thursday and every fourth Friday

Office Location: 81 Bay 14th Floor


Job Description:

As a Project Manager, Enterprise Programs, you’ll be part of the Technology, Infrastructure & Innovation group, reporting to the Senior Director. You’ll be responsible for program management and leading projects that typically involve multiple business lines and channels, run for 12 to 24 months, are highly complex, requiring application of Program & Project Management principles to develop and implement key deliverables in-line with budget, timelines & scope while working with stakeholders from across our bank, vendors and external partners.

****Ability to gather 10-12 project plans from different teams, integrate the plans, maintain and update the plans, and identify and flag dependencies and risks. ****

** NOTE - this particular role has a heavy focus on Microsoft Project. **

• Define test plans and ensure that products are defect free before User Acceptance Testing.

• Develop, track and manage project budget, project plans, timelines and scope.

• Effectively oversee project staff (direct reports, matrixed reports, contractors, and interns), delegating work to appropriate leads.

• Efficiently communicate to stakeholders to manage expectations and project progress.

• Ensure appropriate systems development and project management processes are being utilized.

• Ensure that necessary risk assessments are continually reviewed and monitored and proactively addressed in a timely fashion.

• Ensure that projects are implemented using The Bank's processes and methodologies while being delivered on time keeping senior management aware of key information.

• Facilitate the User Acceptance Testing process, developing rollout plans and procedures.

• Lead teams of developers in the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet business needs.

• Make presentations to steering committees or project sponsors.

• Manage project resources including procuring project staff, developing, motivating, coaching and advising.

• Partner closely with other members of functional project teams to define business requirements.

• Prepare and present cost-benefit analyses.

• Successfully plan, execute, control and close projects against defined scope and budget using The Bank's procedures and policies.

• Manage medium to large scale projects working collaboratively with business stakeholders, vendors, and technical resources.



Must have Requirements:

• History in Waterfall environments

• Strong hands on experience with MS Project ** Absolute must have, the more the better.

• Ability to Identify and flag dependencies and risks.

• Ability to maintain and update the project plan effectively.


Nice to Haves:

• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and systems.

• Previous experience within the financial industry.
