Description
Our IT consulting services client is looking for an Intermediate Python Data Platform Engineer to help build a centralized data platform supporting Technology Risk functions. This role emphasizes Python development, data pipeline engineering, and integration with internal data platforms.
Must Have:
- 2+ years experience in data development within complex, large-scale environments.
- 2+ years of SQL / PLSQL experience, including writing complex ad-hoc queries.
- 2+ years developing data pipelines and warehousing solutions in Python (Pandas, NumPy, PySpark).
- Experience in hybrid data environments (on-prem & cloud).
- Building Airflow DAGs, including dynamic task generation and error handling.
Hands-on experience with:
- Snowflake
- Apache Spark
- Integrating structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data
- Strong understanding of E-R modeling, advanced data warehouse concepts, and performance tuning.
