Description
Our large energy client is seeking an Intermediate Quality Assurance Analyst for performance testing of customer-facing mobile applications ASAP until end of year with opportunity to extend.
Location: Must come into the office downtown Calgary 5 days/week
Must-Haves:
- 5+ years' demonstrated QA Analyst experience (Proficient in best practices for testing and defect management)
- 3+ years' performance testing experience and proficiency in performance testing tools (ie. JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Mobile Testing experience (iOS and Android)
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile norms
Responsibilities:
- Designing/Implementing/Maintaining Tests for Mobile applications and systems based on business requirements and technical understanding
- Perform functional and regression testing to ensure proper test coverage
- Identifying defects and assessing risks to ensure quality features
- Ensure systems and applications meet the standards of quality, reliability, usability and performance.
- Continually updating documentation as changes are made
- Collaborate with internal teams (DEV/PO) to identify system requirements
- Apply testing practices/processes for new and existing products
- Plan and execute required performance testing
