Intermediate SAP HCM/HR Quality Assurance Analyst with qTest experience to support integration work

Our Calgary client is looking for an Intermediate SAP HCM/HR Quality Assurance Analyst with qTest experience to support integration work

This role requires you to be onsite 5 days/week at clients SE Calgary location. This role is contract to hire

Must Have:

• 5+ years' experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst
• Must have experience with SAP HCM/HR
• Proficient in business domains: Payroll, Time, Org Management and Personnel Administration.
• Experience with qTest for automation testing
• Experience with JIRA
• Post-secondary degree/diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity in one or more than one of the technologies of networking, database, and/or web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, JSP, ASP, ABAP, .NET, MQ, Oracle and SQL Queries during test execution
• Experience with OpenText UFT One or OpenText LoadRunner

Responsibilities:

• Execute efficiently and effectively the test steps and record results in the test management tool. Record any defects found along with supporting documentation and the steps to recreate the problem. Conduct the defect review sessions with the software development team, the business analyst and the test lead to ensure clear communication of the defects found
• Coordinate SAP setup of test environments and work on creating test data as part of test data management. Good strong knowledge on SAP SuccessFactors and SAP HR.
• Evaluate business software and/or system requirements to ensure they can be translated into both functional and non-functional tests. Understand the business future state including the existing software/system’s capabilities along with any interfacing systems and the planned enhancements being made to both;
• Translate the business software / system requirements into detailed test cases and test sets and record them using standard test management tools. Identify and create data required to execute test cases
