Description
Our valued telecommunications client is seeking a Junior Data Analyst to build reports, dashboards, and perform data analysis with Tableau!
Initial 6-month contract with possibility of extension to a total term of 2 years. Hybrid: 2 days/week in Ottawa, Montreal, or Toronto. Candidates who can only work 100% remote will also be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from relational databases.
- Build, maintain, and improve Tableau dashboards and reports.
- Assist in data cleaning, validation, and transformation for analytics purposes.
- Support ad-hoc analysis and reporting requests across different departments.
Must Have Skills:
- 2+ years’ experience as a BI Analyst, Data Analyst or similar role
- Strong experience with Tableau for data visualization and dashboarding
- Experience with SQL
- Experience working with large datasets and spotting data quality issues.
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Experience with Excel, Python, R, or other analytical tools.
- Certification in Tableau or Data Analysis
- Experience with Snowflake or other modern data cloud platforms
