Our Vancouver Client is seeking a Junior Marketing & Communications Coordinator to support execution of marketing and communication strategies for both internal and external audiences, supporting projects in the Claims and Rehabilitation Services division. 0134076


1 year contract, 37.50 hours per week, 2 days/week on site


Overview:

Marketing and Communications Coordinator will play a key role in executing marketing and communication strategies for both internal and external audiences, working primarily on projects that support the Claims and Rehabilitation Services division. Help implement dynamic strategies to boost awareness of client's services, goals, and initiatives. Execute engaging marketing and communication plans and develop compelling materials for digital and print channels. Ensure consistency, accuracy, and timely delivery, all while thriving in a fast-paced environment.


Must Have:

  • 2+ years of experience working in marketing, communications, or writing and/or editing in a government, editorial, or publishing (consumer, academic, corporate, or technical) environment.
  • Experience with use of communication tools such as SharePoint, JungleMail, Azdo, Microsoft Planner, Copilot, Power Apps, Power Automation, and InDesign.
  • Experience with communication with a broad range of audiences both online and in person.
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, communications, or a related discipline.

  • Experience with client rehabilitation and/or insurance projects


Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate closely with Marketing and Communications team members and internal clients to support the execution of marketing and communication plans that tackle organizational challenges, mitigate risks, and deliver clear, consistent, and timely information to the people company serves.
  • Write and edit a range of materials, both digital and print, for internal and external audiences - from PowerPoint presentations to news stories.
  • Champion plain-language principles in all communications, and adhere to company guidelines for style, voice, and tone.
  • Coordinate with editors, web publishers, designers, and multimedia teams to support the execution of impactful marketing and communication initiatives that drive results.
  • Coordinate projects that facilitate workflows and improve work processes for the broader Marketing and Communications team
