Our client is looking for a Junior Program Manager to manage project resources for mobile application initiative for large financial bank - 34324

Location: Hybrid - 333 King Street E - 2 times/ month (usually Wednesdays) - need candidates in GTA

Contract Duration: ASAP to Oct 31, 2024 - approx. 3 months *adjust start date

Business group: Canadian Digital Banking Engineering - Applications - mobile engineering team - supporting wealth and retail mobile applications

Project: To support e2e project control related duties for business and technology needs - overseeing multiple initiatives

Responsibilities:

• Develop, track, and manage project budget, project WBS, timelines, and scope.
• Manage project resources, developing, motivating, coaching, and advising team members.
• Partner closely with other members of functional teams (business line, marketing, design, and technology) to define business requirements.
• Define test plans and ensure that products are defect-free before User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Facilitate the UAT process, developing rollout plans and procedures.
• Prepare and present cost-benefit analyses; ensure appropriate systems development and project management processes are being utilized.
• Make presentations to steering committees or project sponsors.
• Attend meetings regularly, informing stakeholders and meeting with the team.

Must Haves:

• 3-4+ years of proven IT Project Management experience using Agile methodologies
• 1-2 years’ + experience as a Program Manager - managing multiple IT initiatives
• 1+ years’ experience with project management tools and software: Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office Suite (please list which)

Nice-To-Have Skills:

• Experience with developing UAT test plans
• CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) certification
• Experience with Salesforce CRM implementation and improvement.
• CSM/Agile Certifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree, technical field preferred

Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) nice to have

CSM/Agile Certifications nice to have
