Our Valued Public Sector Client is seeking two Senior BI Architect (10+ Years) to support the replacement of a legacy system and migrate critical data to the new reporting solution (Power BI)

The consolidation and modernization of the various legacy system functions will drive readily actionable efficiencies and reduce the clients dependency on aging legacy system by providing a modern tool integrated with the programs current and future applications (MS dynamics, MS Power BI). The contractor will analyze the historical database and add historical data and reports to the new reporting solution (Power BI). The resource will also work with stakeholders of all levels, including DBA’s, program managers, business analysts, developers, and a range of other technical and non-technical partners and clients.

Must Haves:

• 8+ years creating Power BI reports and dashboards
• 8+ years experience integrating Power BI reports to SharePoint Online

Tasks:

• Design and develop new cubes for the historical database and deploy the Power BI reports on the server as per business requirements
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive data model in support of the program's operations
• Link Power BI reports to SharePoint document repository
• Develop cube and reporting products in MS Power BI based on business requirements.
• Support the business analysis process to ensure an integrated view and alignment to the objectives of the future business reporting needs
• Creating a clear picture and help communicate the capability gaps that may impede business areas from maximizing the benefits or impact on other business areas that would migrate the program from achieving the desired business outcomes.
• Report progress of the project on an ongoing basis and at scheduled points.
• Manage the development of Cube and implement new reports on the reporting server.
• Coach, mentor and train regional operations and compliance team to develop new reports and manage files on the server.
