S.i. Systems enterprise public health client wants to improve the computer literacy of its employees. They are seeking a Intermediate Microsoft Office Specialist Certified Trainer to delivery M365 training onsite and over Teams.


Mostly REMOTE training over Teams

Some onsite training required at acute health facilities (hospitals)

Must have a car to be able to visit some sites. Travel costs not reimbursed (including parking, gas).

1 year contract - estimated that they require 50 - 60 days of training / year


MUST HAVE SKILLS:

  • Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Certification
  • Provincial Instructor Diploma or equivalent
  • Training experience


NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:

  • Training experience in a public health environment



JOB DUTIES:

· Provide Microsoft 365 training to Fraser Health Staff

· Provide full-day or multiple 1- or 2-hour classes

· Deliver classes virtually, unless in-person is requested at an acute or community site

· Train staff on the following applications: Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Visio), Teams, SharePoint Online (including Lists and Planner), OneDrive, Forms, Computer Fundamentals

· As requested, collaborate with Learning Services in the development or revision of training content

Schedule: All class schedules will be determined between Fraser Health and the Training Coordinator. Schedules will be published monthly.

Classes are typically offered Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:30m. Rarely, but if requested, classes may be offered evening or weekends. It is expected that we will require between 50 to 60 days of training each year.

Training sessions: Basics classes run from 8:30am - 4:30pm with a one-hour lunch break, Noon-1:00pm. Topic-based classes run from 8:30am-10:30am, 11:00am-1:00pm and 1:30pm-3:30pm on the same day.

Cancellations: Classes are subject to cancellation if there are less than four students registered. Training Coordinator will be provided a minimum of five business days' notice of a cancellation.
