Our public sector client is looking for a Senior BA specializing in SAP FICO, MM, and SRM with accounting background to analyze, design, and implement financial and procurement processes.

The Senior Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting the organization’s upgrade from SAP ECC to S/4HANA while optimizing financial and procurement processes. Leveraging expertise in SAP FICO and Procurement, alongside a strong accounting background, the candidate will analyze, design, and implement effective SAP solutions. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders, driving process improvements, and ensuring seamless integration of SAP modules with business objectives.

This position is hybrid - 3-4 days in the office, Burnaby location - 35 hrs/week.

MUST HAVE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 7+ years' experience in business analysis providing comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, process maps, and user manuals.
• Experience training end-users and support teams on SAP functionalities and new processes
• Proven involvement in SAP system implementations, upgrades (including S/4HANA), or enhancements
• Proficiency in SAP FICO and Procurement modules, including general ledger, cost accounting, accounts payable/receivable, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and vendor management.
• Hands-on experience in accounting or finance roles with a strong understanding of financial principles.

NICE TO HAVE:

• Familiarity with BRIM (Billing and Revenue Innovation Management) Module
