Description
Our Tier 1 Banking Client is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to support a KYE (Know Your Employee) and Trade Survellaince multiyear initiative. You will be responsible for working on a major platform that will combine Java, Python and a Propietary language (Q).
Must Have Skills:
- 5-7+ years Core Java Developement Experience
- 3+ years experience work Python Programming
- Strong understanding of ETL practices
- Experience with scripting (ie. Bash, Powershell)
- Github
- Qos and Urban Deploy
- Comfortable working cross functionally with stakeholders in DevOps, QE, Dev
If you have worked with 'Q' or KDB in the past this is a great nice to have. There must be a willingness to work with this language (based on Java). You will also be developing using Java and Python in this role.
Hybrid x3 day/week, 1-year contract to start.
