Our public-sector client is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Developer to build reports and dashboards in Tableau and Power BI

Calgary-based client. Candidates must be located in Calgary and willing to be in-office when needed

Must haves:

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Intelligence Developer with a focus on Tableau and Power BI
• Experience designing and developing reports, dashboards, and score cards and quality assurance and testing
• Fundamental understanding of Azure Cloud technology
• Fundamental understanding of Records Management

Nice to haves:

• Experience with Dataiku
• Ability to multi-task across different tasks.
• Open and honest discussions with excellent communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Creates business requirements and builds analytic solutions following defined reporting standards. Assists in the evolution in all reporting solutions and standards Troubleshoots existing solutions, such as business rule, performance and functionality issues. Remediates performance issues on reports as necessary. Support all analytic solutions in production
• Develops technical documents, test plans and monitors testing activities completed by others. Assists with system testing activities within Data Model and reports
• Completes Proof of Concepts (POCs) in alignment with other analytic business groups. Work with vendor on trouble shooting or POC initiatives.
• Completion of projects related to BI Maturity with other IMT technical teams
• Promotes analytical solutions into production built by other BI Developers
• Administers and maintains our clients BI Server environment
