Senior Contracts Manager for their AMI program to manage large deployment vendors

Our utilities client is seeking a Senior Contracts Manager for their AMI program to manage large deployment vendors.

3 days/week on-site (either Kelowna or Surrey office). This role can be fixed-term employment option or contractor option.

Must Have:

• 4+ years of recent experience in contract management or project management.
• Must have worked on large scale project managing a service vendor/contract (please note, all contracts have been signed)
• Knowledge of SAP, MS Office systems, Logistics, and Transportation Management.

Nice to Have:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) designation
• Experience in major projects and project delivery models

Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation of contracts showcasing technical prowess in Procurement and Contracts Management.
• Foster effective relationships with internal stakeholders, contractors, and vendors, ensuring seamless collaboration.
• Manage the relationship with meter deployment contractors, supporting adherence to project plan requirements and ensuring compliance with corporate policies, industry standards, and agreements.
• Ensure timely delivery of contractual milestones, conducting progress reviews, managing contract changes, and addressing risks or issues.
• Coordinate with logistics and procurement teams, overseeing material inventory for meter deployment.
• Execute contractor safety and quality assurance programs, providing constructive feedback and utilizing current risk management system.
