Description
Our client is actively seeking a Senior Data Engineer to support the processing and storing of customer data using Pyspark, Databricks, and Snowflake.
Initial 6 month contract with possibility of extension. Hybrid work model - 2 days in office & 3 days remote - open to Montreal or Mississauga.
Responsibilities:
- Integrate a Data Engineering team that builds and support data pipelines for the telematic program.
- Participate in the development of new data pipelines features and support current ones.
- Participate in the team ceremonies like the daily scrum meeting, daily DevSync, sprint planning, story refinements and sprint demo.
- Participate with the team in its quest for continuous improvement and application of best practices in various area.
Must-Haves:
- 7+ years experience as a Data Engineer
- Experience using PySpark and AWS Clusters for large-scale data processing
- Experience building data pipelines with Databricks
- Proficiency with Snowflake for storing and querying structured data.
Nice-to-Haves:
- French communication skills
