Our client is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Project Manager to work on network upgrades, server deployment and cyber security initiatives within the retail industry.


Must Haves:

  • 10+ years of experience as a Infrastructure Project Manager
  • 10+ years of experience working on server deployments, network upgrades and cyber initiatives valued $250K-$5M.
  • Expertise in enterprise-scale infrastructure projects and multi-tiered systems integration.
  • Strong technical background, including knowledge of server architecture, networking protocols, cloud technologies (Azure or AWS), and cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001)


Nice to Haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Additional certifications such as ITIL, CISSP, or CCNP are advantageous.
  • Experience in delivering global IT infrastructure projects, particularly in the retail or logistics sector.
  • Excellent client-facing skills, with a proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and communicate effectively.


Responsibilities:

The Project Manager will lead the delivery and performance enhancement of critical infrastructure initiatives across operations. This role focuses on managing a portfolio of projects related to server deployments, network upgrades, and cybersecurity enhancements. The PM will ensure the successful implementation of these projects by overseeing business readiness, managing operational enhancements, defining stakeholder requirements, and providing robust technical support throughout the deployment lifecycle.


  • Manage the rollout of infrastructure projects, including server deployments, network upgrades, and cybersecurity enhancements across multiple locations.
  • Ensure operational readiness across IT teams and business units for seamless implementation.
  • Oversee infrastructure improvements to support the scalability, stability, and security of IT environment.
  • Monitor post-deployment performance to ensure projects meet long-term business objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, operations, and executive leadership to define project requirements and align on strategic objectives.
  • Act as the primary liaison between technical teams, business units, and external vendors to ensure alignment on project goals.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements to deliver projects on time and within scope.
  • Lead project kick-offs, facilitate team meetings, and maintain regular communication with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Identify, track, and mitigate risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring readiness and effective problem resolution.
  • Proactively implement contingency plans to address potential challenges during deployment.
  • Implement governance frameworks and ensure all projects adhere to organizational standards, regulatory requirements, and cybersecurity policies.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation to support audits and post-implementation reviews.
  • Use metrics and reporting tools to track project progress and performance, providing actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Deliver regular updates to senior leadership, including dashboards and executive summaries.
  • Ensure robust technical support processes during and after project deployments, addressing challenges promptly.
  • Manage the transition of completed projects to operational teams with clear documentation and training.
