Description
Our valued Public Sector client requires a Senior Java Developer (Springboot/Hibernate) to support the enhancements of a public facing web based application.
Tasks Include:
- Develop portal user interfaces, business functions and services
- Modernize and improve AppDev cycle efficiency using relevant technology (CI/CD pipeline)
- Complete the unit testing, integration testing, system testing, functional test of the portal and bug fixes
- Implement solution based on the GC technical standards, such as IT security and WCAG
- Provide integration and deployment instructions
- Provide technical assistance, guidance and direction in terms of technical decision, technical solutions, and data analysis and modelling to clients and team members;
- Conduct knowledge transfer sessions with internal resources.
Tech Stack:
- Java (Springboot/Hibernate)
- React
- Nodes.js
- HTML/CSS
- Backend: Oracle
Must-haves:
- 8+ years of experience developing using Java (Springboot/Hibernate)
- 5+ years of experience developing frontend using React/Nodes.js/CSS/HTML
- 5+ years experience enhancing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Enhanced Reliability
Nice-to-haves:
- Extensive experience with Jira, Confluence, Git, Docker, Jenkins
