Our valued public sector client requires a Senior Java Developer (Springboot) to enhance and and develop modules for their large internal information system within the public sector.

Our client currently has enhancements and new modules they'd like to add to their national information management system. This cloud based platform is to replace some outdated systems and will modernize their departmental applications to reduce technical debt.

• Analyze the business requirements and design, implement, integrate, test and deploy the solutions;
• Programming using Java (Springboot, ADO, React.JS)
• Implement the required functions for the internal information management system or other modules required by the client;
• Make modifications to the logical and physical models as required to meet business requirements;
• Provide technical assistance, guidance and direction in terms of technical decision, technical solutions, and data analysis and modelling to team members;
• Implement solution based on the GoC technical standards, such as IT security and WCAG
• Estimates for the level of effort for each Jira ticket
• Monthly status report (mandatory requirement to be submitted with monthly timesheet).

Must Haves

• Reliability Clearance
• 10 year as a Software Developer within the public sector
• Agile Experience

• Central database and web user interface Project experience
